Rokirst British Shorthair Cats

Rokirst is the GCCF Registered Prefix of Rosemarie Roberts and my daughter Kirsty.

Our Prefix is a combination of my own name & my daughter's Kirsty.

My daughter and I are both members

of the "British Shorthair Cat Club and The Southern British Shorthair Cat Club" ...

I live in Cambridgeshire along with my husband, 3 of our 5 children, and extended family of cats and dogs.

In our 30 years of married life, we have always shared

our home with our faithful much loved pets.

My love for the British Shorthair started many years ago, my mother in-law owned a British Blue, Toby was a wonderful ambasssador for the British Shorthair, he was the sweetest, most loving boy, like a gentle cuddly bear who liked nothing more than being curled up beside you on the sofa . Toby lived a long, happy and contented life. I hoped one day I too, would own or be owned by this wonderful breed the "British shorthair".

We are totally committed to breeding kittens that are healthy and strong. We shall try to improve type, coat

and eye colour, without compromising the wonderful temperament of the breed. Our intention is to breed

and show British Shorthair Cats.

We are dedicated hobby breeders to ensure we can always provide as much time necessary for each kitten to be well socialised and regularly handled. This guarantees they are playful, affectionate, beautiful..

      Our kittens are very precious to us and will only be available to special people, with suitable indoor, loving pet homes. The colours I shall be breeding are Blues, Creams, Blue / Creams, Bi-Colour, Dilute Tortie and White and Colourpoints.
